Neil Smith Posted 1/11/19 9:03 PM 1. Leighton Buzzard Board Games Club will be hosting a board games convention on 9 February 2019 from 9 am to 9 pm. Places are limited so register now on lbboardgames.org.uk (£15 entry fee payable on the door). There will be plenty of games, so whether you want to play something “simple but fun” or “heads down and concentrate for a few hours” there will be something for you. You are also welcome to bring your own board/card tabletop games - a chance to try out the games you got for Christmas, but haven’t got round to playing yet. The venue is Linslade Community Hall , LU7 2NR. There is a big car park and it is a gentle 2 minute stroll from Leighton Buzzard main line rail station (fast trains from Euston take only 40 minutes). The entry fee is inclusive of tea or coffee, lunch, and nibbles later – for more details, keep checking the website, lbboardgames.org.uk, where you will also find dates of the club’s regular monthly meetings. It's not too late to persuade your friends and relatives to come along: the more the merrier! Please ask them to register so that we know how many to cater for. Also note that we'll have a bring-and-buy stall at the event, running on an honour system. If you have any games which could go to another home, please bring them along.
